Good News to all partners and potential partners of Coprex and Pennville.
You’re about to get the same great service as you are accustomed to under a new name! WISIUM a subsidiary of Neovia, by InVivo
Neovia has a long-standing presence in both English and French-speaking Africa and, over the next five years, it intends to strengthen its presence on the African continent. This commitment is today embodied by three events in South Africa: the acquisition of the premix company Pennville, the opening of a distribution and storage centre, and the launch of a new premix / firm-services brand: Wisium.
Coprex, a leader in animal nutrition, specialties and additives to industrial and on farm feed producers, is now changing its name to Wisium. This is to better symbolize our expanding range of worldwide capabilities.
This means you will receive the same on-time delivery, the same fast, responsive service, and the same dedication to excellence you have come to rely on, now from WISIUM.
Our new name reflects our global presence as a full-fledged subsidiary of Neovia. This name change allows us to incorporate Pennville into our business activities.
“The acquisition of Pennville by Wisium SA will help us expand our presence in the country and benefit from the industrial, R&D, and sales expertise of a major international group to support our growth”, said Allan Pennel, MD of Pennville. Our operations today has become more global in nature and include product lines beyond where we began over 30 years ago.
Hubert de Roquefeuil, CEO of Neovia added, “Neovia has been investing in Africa for many years and has chosen to accelerate its presence on the continent. The takeover of Pennville, our latest investment in South Africa, as well as the recent signing of a major partnership with Olam in Nigeria or the old and strong relationships we have in the Ivory Coast, illustrate this dynamic and the confidence we have in Africa’s medium-term growth. Neovia is eager to accelerate its organic growth in Africa and strongly wants to improve its presence in premix, additives and animal health (South Africa, North-Africa, sub-Saharan Africa). The company is also deeply interested in multiplying targeted acquisitions and giving a stronger dimension to its major strategic partnerships. This ambition requires a clear understanding of the specific issues of each African country and the definition of an approach that takes into account the needs and cultures of its partners, clients and final consumers ».
Chris van Niekerk, MD of WISIUM SA, “Over the years, we have remained dedicated to developing our people, strengthening our capabilities, and building trusting relationships with our clients and partners. We also pride ourselves on providing superior talent to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with the key objectives of our clients—disciplined finance and accounting, strategic operations, integrated technology, and proactive risk management. We do so with flexibility and nimbleness that fit your objectives—not ours. We are excited for the future and the opportunity to work with you in these areas to exceed your expectations.”
The company will continue to operate in its current structure, and your contacts will remain unchanged. Other than these visible changes, there is no change in ownership and no change in staff. Our office location, phone, and fax numbers will remain the same.
